ATTICA – Funeral services for Mrs. Lucy I. Hansley, age 70, of Fairmount and formerly of Attica, who died at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 5, at the Bluffton Clinic in Bluffton, were held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Hunt Funeral Home in Fairmount. The Rev. Norman Carter officiated and burial was in the Park Cemetery at Fairmount. Mrs. Hansley had been a patient at the clinic two days and she had been seriously ill two months. She was born in Warren County, Sept. 25, 1898, the daughter of Samuel and Emma Hall Dutcher. She was married to LaVern Hansley, who survives. She attended the Bethel Church in Fountain County and was a member of the Eastern Star in Williamsport, the ABC Club and the Bethel Community Circle. She and her husband had owned and operated a Western Auto store in Fairmount for 15 years. Surviving, in addition to her husband, are: one son, Avis of Attica; one brother, James T. Dutcher of Hammond; two sisters, Mrs. Flora Lagman of Indianapolis and Mrs. Mary Citizen of Williamsport; and two grandchildren. – jlr
